How did you come to the Bridge?

God called us to be part of His local church in El Segundo.  Pastor Rob and I worked together at Living Way Fellowship in Littleton, Colorado.

What makes you laugh?

Jerry Lewis, the Pink Panther, Monty Python, and unexpected mayhem with no danger involved.

What makes you cry?

Injustice to the little ones, the triumph of the soul against all odds, the victory of the underdog after a grueling battle of strength and wits and perseverance.

If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?

Biggest Loser!! Because when we lose ourselves in Christ we are our true self and discover that He has taken the pounds (burdens) away. When I am lost, when I lose the worldly pounds, He is found in me creating His newness of life in and through me!

How did you come to the Bridge?

In 1993 I attended a Bible study at Rob & Cathy McKenna’s home here in El Segundo. I came adversarial and philosophical, and left born of the Spirit of God and baptized in the Holy Spirit! Before Pastor Rob left for God’s calling to Colorado, we had become accountability partners. Upon his return, we began to discuss the possibility of God using us together in ministry. With much prayer over a two year period, God brought me to El Segundo Foursquare Church now known as the Bridge.

What makes you laugh?

What makes you cry?

How did you come to the Bridge?

My father was the Youth Pastor here back in the mid 90’s when I was born. We moved to Colorado for 5 years and came back when my dad accepted the position as senior pastor here back when it was El Segundo Foursquare.

Hallmark Movies (at Christmas time, of course). Also when a bride comes walking down the isle and then the eye connection that she and the groom share in those few moments.

If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?

I’d be on What Not To Wear just so that I could have 5,000 dollars to redo my wardrobe.

Doreen Yusifzai / Prayer Director

How did you come to the Bridge?

Someone invited me! The Lord was preparing to do a great healing in me (body, soul and spirit). The first time I visited, His still small voice said, “The love found here will begin the healing”.

What makes you laugh?

Little kids. They say and do the darndest things.

What makes you cry?

Abuse in any form and a wasted life.

If you could be on any reality show, what would it be?

The ultimate reality show, Darren Wilson’s Holy Spirit movies. “No Plan, No Safety Net, Just God”!
